The British International School, Chennai was founded in 2005 with
the aim of providing an international standard of education, from
Reception to Year 6, following the British curriculum.
Learning will be investigative and creative and children will be
given every opportunity, to develop academically, physically and
artistically with a sense of respect and strong set of values.
Working closely with the parents, we will ensure that every child
receives the support and encouragement, needed to be a happy, confident

The British International School Chennai is an Independent International
School recognized by the Board of London Examinations, United Kingdom
as a registered participating Institution Centre with Edexcel International
London Examinations for O and A level Examinations. We are attached
to the British Council for all Examinations.
In the wake of globalization parents are aiming at sending their
children overseas for pursuing higher studies. An A level certificate
bestowed by Edexcel International of the London University promises

school in Chennai following the curriculum and examination of the
